PICTURE DAY!

Hello Again,

Well if everything goes as planned this is our last Wednesday night in Dnipro WHOOHOOO!!!!
We had a bit of action today so overall we are feeling ok. Today we took Kallie to get her picture taken. The whole 30 minutes was an experience for her and us! Her first car ride and off of orphanage property with us. She was very reluctant as you can see from the picture. Her hands were in fists almost the entire time. She was a real trooper though. No smile for the photographer and hardly any tears.

When we were coming home from the grocery store this morning Kaiden mentioned that he can't wait to get home and have apple juice, mashed potatoes, and great grandma's perogies. I said that I was really looking forward to a Tim Hortons coffee. Darryl just wants to be HOME! As you can see, we all have our own reasons for wanting to come home.

The weather here is very spring-like. Right now it is raining. There is hardly any snow left. I guess we are going to enjoy 2 springs this year.

TTFN,

The Decks

You are in the homeward stretch. That is good. I know it is hard to enjoy it while you are living it, but it may not be long until you look back with some sort of fondness for your time there. In the meantime, enjoy the things there that are not here.
Thanks for posting. Please keep it up. We appreciate just knowing a bit about what you are doing and seeing (and tasting).

Kallie's eyes are so big, wondering what is going on. Can you just imagine all of her thoughts as so much is new to her!! Knowing that this is the last Wednesday must make you realize that things are really progressing and know soon you will be home. I know it can't come soon enough for you guys!! Boy, will food ever taste good to you when you are back home. Kaiden sounds like he is ready to be home too, but has he ever been a good boy for you!! Take care! We continue to pray for your speedy return.

No one realizes all the firsts for Kallie...she hasn't even been out of the orphange, or in a vehicle. It looks like Kallie and all of you have been handling everything very positively. Can't wait to meet her in person.
(p.s. I wouldn't mind tasting Great Grandmas's perogies myself)

OH MY she looks very uncertain! She will probably have that look frequently within the next few weeks. Why did she need to get her picture taken? Have you heard when the judge will sign your papers? I just got home from swimming lessons. The kids have beach day tomorrow and I have PJ and wacky hair day! I guess I better get organized or else the morning will be chaotic, you know what I mean. Have a few great days, the countdown is on!!!!!!
